Easiest of the flowers to grow
A sunflower blossoms
Its yellow tone soothing the mind
Its green erect stem covered in coarse hairs
Able to provide nutrients to the finches flying through the flied
It stands still, hurting only when it has nothing else to give
Young blossoms will face east in the morning
Following the sun as the earth moves during the day
They welcome anyone who passes to pluck them
And bring them as gift to a loved one
The day I will be given a flower
Is the day the sun says hello to me.
