Losing - Yeonjae (Jay) Kim

Writer: HOW BlogHOW Blog

Everything burst at night,

Too quiet to be the end

She didn’t listen, but

talked about how she hurt

so much–I’d lost her

I sat still on the windowsill

unable to process the truth

I would have to serve

two years all alone

Desperately, I tried

It was too late to

turn everything back

to what it used to be

Stay put so I don’t

fracture what’s

endured half a decade

First, I lost one

Then, I lost all
